Mule Deer Country

I am so proud of this piece. I put a lot of my heart and soul into it. I love deer, i love going out hiking and finding them! Mule deer are definitely part of my top 10 animal list.
As many of you know i have not been painting as much, and i finally had a vision i knew i needed to paint. I think I am finally taking my wildlife painting in the right direction.

This was done with about 99% watercolors and a tiny bit of colored pencil to add a few little highlights. Done on 9x12 watercolor paper.

I may sell prints of this. ^.^ I am so happy with it, it truly is my favorite watercolor painting ive ever done.
